Richard III - breaking news

There's great excitement here in the UK, at Leicester in England to be precise. It would seem the bones recently excavated from beneath a car park in the town are indeed thought to be those of King Richard III who was killed in battle in 1485.

You can read the full story on the BBC News site. An amazing slice of history!

It's been amazing from start to finish. Our local regional news has been covering it since the car-park dig began.

So pleased that it has been a positive result, too.

I was so pleased to be at home on friday when they held the news conference. It's so incredible that they actually found his body.
