For Auld Lang Syne

Wishing you a great Hogmanay from Scotland, where some people will be dancing at celidhs up and down the country, to the toe-tapping sound of fiddles and accordians. And, yes, young men still wear the kilt at such occasions!

Have a very happy, healthy and prosperous 2012. Raising a toast for Auld Lang Syne, written as a poem by our national bard, Robert Burns, in 1788, and sung all over the world as we enter the New Year.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And auld lang syne!

For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne.
We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.

Happy New Year!
Romy
