New Look...

Well, as you can see, the revamped blog is finally taking shape and beginning to wear its new look. I decided to change the name to 'Romancing History' as I don't want to only focus on the Regency period in future. The photo in the header is my own - Lochranza Castle on the Scottish island of Arran. This kind of sums up the blog: the beauty, romance and story ideas that are to be found in history and historical sites.

I'm looking forward to bringing snippets of history from various decades, and some chat about historical fiction and writers. Hope you can join me on the journey from next week and thanks for staying with me this far!

One little bit of excitement is that Dangerous Deceit is now available in print from Champagne Books! It was so lovely to hold my first novel in my hands at last, much as I love my kindle and e-books. Now trying to organise a 'real' launch in Glasgow around the first week in September. That should be fun.

Hello Teresa - thanks for coming over! Honestly, I've been faffing around with both blogs for a couple of days now. Just have to stop now and try them out.

Must admit it's been quite exciting to get the print copy of the novel - makes me feel like a 'real' author!

Hi Carol - thank you for that! I'm so delighted at the response to the print version - I hadn't realised so many of my friends had been waiting for it!
