Well, I thought it might be a good idea to play around with making a video trailer for Dangerous Deceit - not as easy as I hoped! But I used Windows Movie Maker and have ended up with something that might do to show the basic outline of the novel. And I like the music! So here goes...
Please feel free to offer advice, or comments!

Nice work, rosemary. I'm impressed!
ReplyDeleteI'm more intrigued than ever. Clever you, Rosemary. Gwen
ReplyDeleteThe video looks great, Rosemary - and the book looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThat's great - it looks good, the pace is right, the music really suits - and it's a real teaser for the book. I want to read it even more now!
ReplyDeleteOh, thank you all very much, Michael, Gwen, Teresa and Janice!
ReplyDeleteIt was fun to do but I wasn't sure about the pacing - at least it gives a teaser about the story.
Looking good! The music really does tie in well with the theme/images - look forward to reading it!! x
ReplyDeleteThanks, Vikki - and thank you for your input with the background colour!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful, Rosemary. It looks fantastic and the music fits perfectly. It makes me want the book!
ReplyDeleteThanks for that lovely comment, Joanna! Thought it might be a good way to show the basic outline (without any other characters).
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Rosemary. I imagine it was hard to find pictures for a Regency--no easy task, huh? I liked the red color added with the text.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Linda - I did search for a while! And my clever daughter helped decide on the red background.
ReplyDeleteClean, clear and intriguing. I like the red background too and I love the rose at the end, both add a layer of richness. All whets the appetite for reading Dangerous Deceit.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for your comment, Maggie - the rose was my photo but clever Vikki suggested aging it and it works really well.
ReplyDeleteAmazing!! I love it. Thank you for sharing. I just keep getting more and more excited for this story!!

That's so kind, thank you, Linda. I do so hope it doesn't disappoint!
ReplyDeleteyou did a great job. love love love the music, pulled me right in. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Diana. I was hoping the lovely music would appeal to others!
ReplyDeleteWow, Rosemary. I'm very impressed. What great work. I love that piece of music. I think it's Mozart? I used to play it on the piano and you've inspired me to go and look it out and play it again. My piano playing is very neglected these days to the writing!

Hi Bluestocking Mum - thanks for your lovely comment! Hope you do get back to your piano playing - my husband always finds it very relaxing to play when stressed. (It was a Bach prelude - he's one of my favourite composers).
ReplyDeleteGreat job! I am amazed by technology now and how we can do almost anything. Congrats! :O)
ReplyDeleteThanks for that, Diane - I can't believe we can do these things ourselves relatively easily!
